The A2Z Model Z-10G ozone generator (ozonator) is designed specifically for disinfection and oxidation of water in industrial, laboratory and pilot plant applications. Typical applications include drinking water, process water loops, recycling processes, food and beverage industries, cooling towers, aquaculture, aquariums and swimming pools. The components of the Model Z-10G are mounted in a rugged stainless steel cabinet, and all parts that come into contact with oxygen and ozone are made of stainless steel, glass or Teflon.
The Model Z-10G ozonator uses a fan-cooled Corona Discharge (CD) tube to generate ozone from a variety of pressurized sources such as compressed air, bottled oxygen or an oxygen generator. The Model Z-10G also has a built- in light duty air compressor to generate its own compressed air. The result is high ozone concentration yields at low energy demand.
Switches and LED status indicator lights are provided for the ozone generator and the air compressor. The concentration of ozone discharged is controllable from 0 to 100% by a dial potentiometer to vary the current to the CD tube, as displayed on a 300-800mA amp meter. Should the unit stop making ozone for any reason, a fault warning light is displayed. The unit is protected electrically by an externally accessible fuse.
The Model Z-10G ozonator comes complete with pre-installed fittings and all required tubing, enabling it to be installed and running in less than ten minutes. It is maintenance free,
